Marc Webster is a recording engineering, composer, and keyboardist. His recording and performance experience covers a wide range of musical styles, including classical, jazz, gospel, blues, rap and R&B. As a composer his compositions have been featured on Performance Today, and his soundtrack for the movie “Fury” was awarded semi-finalist at the Moondance Film Festival.

This music video explores the rabbit hole of social media — what is reality when the pursuit of reactions and followers blurs the distinction between the real world and the world of social media. JacobTV’s composition, composed in 1998, is based on sound types from American talk show TV. Twenty four years later, the social media technology has changed the landscape hugely, but the underlying human conditions, perhaps not so much. |
